Apr. 1939 Yamazaki Iron Works was established in Suehiro-cho, Ojiya city.

Mar. 1959 Our company changed its name to Yamazaki Seiki.

May 1959 Our company changed its name from Yamazaki Seiki to Yamazaki Seiki Co., Ltd.

Jul. 1963 We changed our name to Nippon Bearing Co., Ltd.

Nov. 1966 NB received a prize from Daishi Bank for the development of new products in Niigata.

Oct. 1970 Completion of two new factories (2.700m²) on land measuring 20.300m².
at our present location with an administration office.

Mar. 1984 NB received a prize for economic development in Niigata Prefecture.

Oct. 1984 The NB Shoji Co., Ltd,was set up as a new independent sales company incorporating the sales organisation of the production plant.


Jun. 1987 The NB Corporation of America in Chicago was established.

Feb. 1992 The NB gymnasium (1.300m²) was completed as a social community facility.

Feb. 1993 NB received a prize from the Japan Society for the Advancement of Inventions
for the Device Merits Prize on SER products.

Apr. 1998 NB received a prize from The Science and Technology Agency for the total development of our Slide Bush.

Jul. 1998 NB was certified ISO9001.

Oct. 2000 NB received a prize for Good Design Award on our Actuator BG.

Nov. 2000 NB added a five-story office building (2.300m²).

Nov. 2001 NB added a two-story factory (5.800m²).

Nov. 2002 NB Europe B.V. in Amstelveen in the Netherlands was established.
